Enjoy the opportunity for your child to interact and socialize - the Accessible Playground is a place were children with disabilities can play alongside children with typical abilities! Parents/guardians can network and share their experiences. Local resources will be available, and healthy snacks/drinks will be provided. Music by Music To Grown On, face painting, games, and more! FREE to everyone!

VSA Arts of California (www.VSAsacramento.org) strives topromote creative power in people with disabilities. They do this by providing educational opportunities to students and by educating the public about the capabilities and accomplishments of people with varying abilities. Mark your calendar, too, with these other fun events for young artists:
* THEATRE CAMP AT FAIRYTALE TOWN – Sunday-Friday, July 11-16
* VERY SPECIAL ARTS DAY AT FAIRYTALE TOWN – Saturday, July 17 (11 am-3 pm)Visit Pooh corner, participate in a wide variety of hands-on art activities, and stop by the Children's Theater to catch a special performance by the VSA day camp kids.

At Fairytale Town, a child with special needs and one adult are admitted free (www.FairytaleTown.org), and at the Sacramento Zoo a child with special needs is free; one adult is 1/2 price (www.SacZoo.com).

Autism Family Night – The First Monday of Every Month
Bring the kids to play in a supportive, friendly environment, and connect with other parents who have children with ASD. 6:30-8:30pm at Bouncetown in Sacramento. $7 first child, $5 siblings. Parents and children under 18 months play free with a paying child. 366-9999. www.Bouncetown.org
NorCal Bowling – Every Thursday
Go bowling with the Nor-Cal Kids (& Teens) Club 4–6pm Thursdays at Rocklin Bowl. Everyone is welcome. $2 per game and free shoe rental for bowlers with disabilities and immediate family members. Friends are welcome, too (at the regular rate). Contact Ron Mesna: (530) 315-0393 or norcalkidsclub@aol.com.
FridayNite KidzKlub – The First Friday of Every Month
Parents of special needs kids (ages 1-16) can take a three-hour break and find community support. 6:15-9:15pm at Bayside Church in Roseville. Siblings welcome. No fee. Advance reservations required. Contact Dan Adragna: kidzklub@surewest.net.
**** Summer Splash Water-Ski Day has been canceled for this year. The good folks at Capitol Autism Services and Sacramento Water Ski Club will let us know their plans for next summer.
